Whole day courses

Led by two experienced GP Educators and two highly skilled simulated patients

Places limited to 6 per course

Each attendee will practise with 3 simulated scenarios and observe a further 6 scenarios during the day

Experiential learning through simulation backed up by theory

£495 course fee

Most Deaneries will allow an SCA course fees to be reclaimed

OUR TRAINERS

Mohan Kanagasundaram

Mohan works 6 sessions as a GP partner at Crouch Oak Family Practice in Addlestone in Surrey, having been a trainee and then a partner from 2000. He has been a trainer since 2003 and has also worked as an Associate Dean for HEEKSS leading on Simulation and Communication skills development. He has previously been a CSA examiner for the RCGP. He is an experienced External Educational Supervisor supporting trainees, especially those who have required additional support in passing their exams.

Martin has been a GP partner at Binscombe Medical Centre in Godalming since 2001, working 6 clinical sessions. He has been a trainer since 2005 and for 10 years was one of the Training programme directors on the Guildford scheme. His book on the consultation,  The GP Consultation Reimagined, a Tale of Two Houses, was published by Scion Publishing in 2020. As well as training in the practice he works as a freelance educator, teaching on the consultation to GP trainers and trainees up and down the country.
